OUR MISSION
Help provide relief to those impacted by the Ukraine Conflict with Russia in a way that best meets the needs of the individuals and families affected and respects their human rights. Our mission is to provide aid to those still inside Ukraine and facilitate their transport and acceptance as refugees into the United States, specifically Alaska, and to support their integration into our country. Compassion, dignity, and respect are the backbone of our efforts as we seek to help Ukrainian refugees to rebuild their lives in safety.
ABOUT US
When the war broke out in Ukraine many Alaskans started contacting New Chance Church in Anchorage as many of its members are Ukrainian.Quickly the church became a local hub for the Ukrainian conflict. The church had an established nonprofit organization, New Chance Inc, for social events and services. Due to the circumstances, New Chance Inc incollaboration with other local organizations and individuals initiated a new effort, Ukraine Relief Program.
